Visualize a divine, powerful, brilliant white light slowly descending from the cosmos above. Feel it entering the very top of your head, at your crown chakra. This light is pure, unconditional love. Feel it gently moving down into your face, your neck, and then flowing directly into the center of your heart. Feel this loving energy filling your heart space completely, warming you from the inside out.
Now, from below, see the nurturing, supportive light of Mother Earth, Gaia, moving up into the soles of your feet. Feel this gentle, grounding energy slowly ascending through your legs, into your hips, through your torso, and connecting with the divine energy at your heart.
With each breath you take, see this combined light—from the heavens above and the earth below—expanding farther and farther out. See it enveloping your entire body, expanding six feet in all directions. You are now sitting within a powerful, radiant pillar of light.
Breathe loving energy from your heart up to Source on the inhale, and exhale that same loving energy all the way down to Gaia on the exhale. This creates an unshakable connection, a sacred pillar that surrounds and protects you. This light is your safe space, where no dark energies can exist. It allows you to explore your shadow with absolute compassion and understanding.
As you sit peacefully within your pillar of light, bring to mind the aspects of yourself that you wish to explore. What fears, insecurities, or unresolved emotions have you been avoiding or pushing away?
Don’t force anything. Simply create a gentle invitation for these feelings or aspects to surface. Allow them to rise without judgment, criticism, or fear. As they appear in your awareness—perhaps as a feeling, a memory, or an image—greet them with loving acceptance.
You might say to yourself: “I see you. I acknowledge you. I am ready to understand you.”
Feel the warmth of the divine light surrounding you, providing comfort and safety as you delve into these hidden parts of yourself. Remember, these parts are not your enemies; they are lost pieces of you seeking healing and integration.
Now, visualize the shadow aspects you’ve identified being completely bathed in the divine white light of your protective pillar. See this light tenderly wrapping around them, dissolving any fear, pain, shame, or guilt associated with them. Watch as the light transforms these dense energies into pure love and profound understanding.
Repeat these powerful affirmations to yourself, feeling the truth of them resonate through your entire being:
“I am whole. I embrace all parts of myself. I transform my shadow into light.”
